Sword and Shield bring the "mainline" Pok?mon games onto the Nintendo Switch with a dollop of charm and a real sense of fun, as well as some much-needed gameplay optimizations. But not everything is picture perfect and while this new generation is close to being the very best (like no game ever was) there are some areas where it just falls short.
