Gucci's Tom Ford hurried a sequel to the original Rush, launched in 1999, called Gucci Rush 2. While the original Rush is a rich wooded Oriental blend, Rush 2 is a lighter floral scent with green accents. The two fragrances share rose, gardenia, and freesia, but Rush 2 offers a reprieve from the rich patchouli of Rush. In Rush 2 the sheerer essence of palm wood is combined with soft white flowers. Gucci Rush 2 is an excellent choice for chic urban wear.
